Sorry it has been a while girls -- the beginning of the year has been very hectic so far!
Family Kaleb is wild as ever! He is learning so many new things and growing so much daily -- I love him! I can not believe he is already 1 -- it just breaks my heart. Matt is doing good. Still in the military and probably looking at another deployment before too long (please say a prayer for us that he wont have to go back -- I really dont want him to miss 1 year of Kaleb's life; plus, I dont think I could survive through yet another deplyoment...ugh!)
School I so do not want to start back to school! I feel like when I am in school, so much time gets devoted to my clinical time as well as classroom time (nursing school) that I am penalizing my family -- especially Kaleb and Matt. Being off this month and a half has been so enjoyable for me and being able to keep Kaleb on daily basis and do so many fun things together, yet I know once January 26th rolls around, it is going to be so difficult for me because I know we wont have those special moments (well, not as many!) However, December keeps getting closer and closer which is exciting since it will be GRADUATION! *thank goodness* I am ready to graduate so that Matt and I can start building a house and start expanding our family a lil' more!
Other Matt and I are wanting to go on our first family vacation this summer once I get out of school -- but we dont know where to go with a 1 1/2 year old. Any suggestions? We were thinking Destin, Florida, but I thought I would ask you girls to see if you had any other ideas!
Thats all for now! Can't wait to hear from you all! Talk to you soon....
I can not believe that Christmas is over and in less than 2 weeks, it will be 2009. That is just incredible to me. Boy how time flies by!
We had a pretty good Christmas this year. Spent lots of time with family and friends and had a good time together. Santa was so good to Kaleb -- he could hardly contain himself once he got up on Thursday morning! He got a 4-wheeler, which he absolutley loves!!
It was a difficult Christmas this year being the first without my mom, but we made it through -- and with time, hopefully things will become easier.
Hope all of you guys had a wonderful Christmas. More updates later -- the hubby and I are going to look at possibly purchasing some land to start building a house on! YAY!
Talk to you all soon!

Kaleb on his 4-wheeler!
PS -- I am needing some help. For some reason when I upload pictures, they upload to this size -- why?
